Public Practice specialists Taylor Rose Recruitment are working with a leading firm of Chartered Accountants in Hull who due to continued growth, are seeking an Accounts Senior to join their team.

Ideal for a recently ACA/ ACCA Qualified individual (PQ or MAAT considered) working in practice seeking continued professional development and an excellent work/ life balance.

You will be working with an interesting and varied client base from a range of industry sectors involving regular client liaison and more advisory work as you progress.

The Role:

Preparation of statutory accounts for sole traders, limited companies and partnerships
Corporate tax computations
Management accounts preparation
Review of VAT Returns & bookkeeping
Training clients on accountancy software
Mentoring junior staff
Liaising with HMRC
Dealing with client queries

You:

ACA / ACCA Qualified (ideally)
Part Qualified/ MAAT also considered
Strong technical knowledge of FRS 102 standards (ideally)
Previous experience of working in practice is essential
Knowledge of accountancy software such as Xero & Quickbooks is beneficial
