Part-Time Customer Service Advisor
Monday - Friday (10am-2pm or 11pm - 3pm)
Location: North Yorkshire
Salary: £25-28k (pro rata)
Fully Office based
We are working with a well-established, family-owned UK supplier of essential workplace products and services. Known for their customer-first approach and sustainable solutions, they are now seeking a proactive Customer Service Advisor to join their growing team.
About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity for a customer-focused professional to play a vital role in supporting both customer relationships and internal teams. You will be the first point of contact for a broad range of clients - handling sales orders, answering product queries, resolving issues, and ensuring a high-quality customer experience from start to finish.
Key Responsibilities
? Handle customer orders via phone and email, inputting them accurately into the ERP system
? Provide advice on products, including upselling where appropriate
? Build strong relationships with clients through friendly and professional communication
? Collaborate with internal teams (Sales, Operations) to deliver seamless service
? Proactively manage customer expectations and follow through on enquiries
? Resolve complaints or complex issues promptly and professionally
? Maintain accurate records using Microsoft Office and internal systems
? Support customer success through a solution-led, personalised approach
About You
? Experience in customer service or client support roles
? Confident communicator with excellent phone and email etiquette
? Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
? A proactive problem-solver who takes ownership of issues
? Comfortable using Microsoft Office and digital tools (Excel, Outlook, Word)
? Adaptable and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
? Willing to learn new product ranges and grow with the business
