Your Role as a Residential Clinical Practitioner:Lead therapeutic provision across children's residential homes and an assessment centre within the region.
Deliver clinical assessments and trauma-informed interventions to children and young people with complex needs.
Provide weekly therapy sessions using integrative approaches aligned with developmental and complex trauma models.
Produce detailed assessment reports and therapeutic care plans.
Offer clinical supervision to assistant psychologists and deliver training to staff on attachment, therapeutic parenting, and trauma recovery.
Work collaboratively with external agencies and care professionals to support progress and safeguarding.
Essential:
HCPC-Registered Clinical or Counselling Psychologist (applications welcome from those awaiting registration following completion of a doctorate)
Experience supporting children and families affected by trauma and abuse.
Familiarity with working alongside statutory services (e.g., local authorities, CAMHS).
