We are seeking an HR Manager to be the key contact for all people-related matters, providing comprehensive HR support across the employee life cycle. This role is a blend of remote and office-based work, offering flexibility and the opportunity to shape our workforce management and development strategies.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Attend monthly directors’ meetings, reporting on HR and Learning and Development.
  • Collaborate with senior management to prepare and implement HR strategies.
  • Lead recruitment efforts and maintain the recruitment agency preferred suppliers list.
  • Manage employee records and conduct inductions for new staff.
  • Oversee employee benefits, including medical insurance and company EAP.
  • Develop and maintain HR policies and procedures across the group of companies.
  • Support managers in developing Standard Operating Procedures and promoting a collaborative work culture.
  • Manage international employee transitions in compliance with local regulations.
  • Stay updated with employment legislation in the UK and other relevant countries.
  • Handle disciplinary and grievance cases, manage performance reviews, and coordinate training and development.
  • Ensure legal compliance for employee work eligibility and manage UK Home Office applications.
  • Communicate payroll amendments and conduct exit interviews.
  • Provide guidance on restructuring and succession planning.
  • Manage administrative tasks such as booking travel and accommodations for senior management.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Membership in the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD).
  • Experience with interviewing 
  • Strong work ethic and ability to handle issues promptly.
  • Coaching skills for line managers and a deep understanding of diverse employee motivations.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with HR systems.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Willingness to undergo enhanced DBS checks and safeguarding training.
  • Active engagement on social media platforms like LinkedIn for professional networking.
