Sales Ledger Clerk

Let's keep it simple.
You've worked in finance -maybe in accounts receivable, billing, or another sales ledger role. You understand how invoices go out, how cash comes in, and how to keep a ledger running smoothly.
Now, you're after a part-time role, something with structure, responsibility, and flexibility -that lets you use your experience without demanding five days a week.
This is it.
You'll be responsible for keeping the sales ledger in top shape. Raising invoices, allocating payments, resolving queries, and staying on top of the detail. It's a role that matters - and one where your organisation, accuracy, and calm under pressure will make a real difference.

What you'll be doing:
?? Raising and sending invoices accurately and on time.
?? Allocating incoming payments and reconciling customer accounts.
?? Following up on overdue balances (mostly by email).
?? Investigating short payments and resolving customer queries.
?? Keeping the sales ledger clean, clear, and fully up to date.

What you'll need:
?? Previous experience in a sales ledger, AR, or finance support role.
?? Accuracy and attention to detail - numbers and names matter here.
?? A confident communicator, especially over email.
?? Solid Excel skills - you know your way around filters, lookups, maybe even a pivot table.
?? A proactive mindset - you spot issues before they become problems.

What you'll get:
?? A meaningful role, even part-time.
?? £26,000 pro rata salary.
?? Real flexibility - 4 days a week, with some give in how you work them.
?? Trust, autonomy, and support - no micromanagement here.

If you're looking for a part-time sales ledger role where your skills count and your time is respected this role would be worth a call.
