We are seeking a dedicated Renewable Technologies Lecturer to join our Construction Department. This role involves delivering inclusive, responsive, and innovative teaching and learning on a range of renewable technologies programmes. The successful candidate will be committed to excellence in teaching and ensuring that all learners succeed in their chosen programmes.

Day-to-Day of the Role:
  • Develop and implement Sequence of Learning and assessment plans for various programmes to effectively support learners in achieving their full potential.
  • Embed Equality and Diversity into every lesson and programme.
  • Incorporate employability, employer engagement activities, and enrichment into the programmes, ensuring appropriate industrial placement for learners.
  • Deliver engaging and innovative learning experiences and undertake assessments using a broad range of methods.
  • Guide and tutor learners through the learning process, including action planning and reviews, utilising the e-Individual Learning Plan regularly.
  • Be fully accountable for the learner’s success, utilising data and the Management Information System to evaluate the quality of provision and ensure compliance with all quality mechanisms and key performance indicators.
  • Participate actively as a member of the course team and supervise the work of admin support and associate lecturer staff within the programme area.
  • Contribute to curriculum and staff development activities, and participate in all teaching, learning, and assessment processes.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in delivering renewable technologies programmes.
  • Strong commitment to producing outstanding teaching and learning.
  • Ability to develop and produce learning and assessment materials using E-Systems (VLE and appropriate social media).
  • Experience in supervising staff and undertaking administrative duties within an educational setting.
  • Full compliance with Health & Safety, Safeguarding, Equality & Diversity policies and procedures.

Reed £45,000 - £54,000 per annum, pro-rata Hampshire
