Geography Teacher

  • Salary Range: £37,057 to £54,604 (pro rata, inclusive of London weighting)

We are seeking a dedicated Geography Teacher to join our client's team on a part-time basis. This role is ideal for an experienced educator who is passionate about geography and eager to inspire students. The position offers a competitive salary, dependent on experience, and includes London weighting.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging geography lessons aligned with the curriculum.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback to help them improve.
  • Utilise a variety of teaching methods to cater to different learning styles.
  • Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment that fosters student engagement.
  • Collaborate with other teaching staff to enhance the educational experience.
  • Participate in school meetings and events.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Proven experience teaching geography at the relevant educational level.
  • Strong understanding of the current curriculum and teaching methods.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to engage and inspire students.
