Part-Time Assistant Property Manager

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Assistant Property Manager to join a reputable property management firm serving Kent and South East London. This part-time role (3 days per week) offers an excellent opportunity for a property professional looking to further develop their skills while maintaining a balanced working schedule.

In this role, you will provide essential support in managing a diverse portfolio of residential and commercial properties. Working closely with senior management, you will assist in delivering high-quality property management services, ensuring compliance, and maintaining strong client relationships.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Assisting with the day-to-day management of residential and commercial property portfolios.
  • Liaising with tenants, leaseholders, contractors, and clients to provide prompt and professional service.
  • Supporting the preparation and monitoring of service charge budgets and attending AGMs.
  • Maintaining accurate records, correspondence, and property management systems.
  • Coordinating maintenance and repair schedules to ensure properties are well-maintained.
  • Ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and company policies.
Candidate Profile:

We are looking for candidates with proven experience in property management or block management, ideally with exposure to both residential and commercial sectors. The ideal candidate will have:

  • Previous experience supporting property management functions, ideally assisting the management of portfolios or blocks.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, able to engage effectively with a diverse client base.
  • Good organizational abilities with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Competence with Microsoft Office and familiarity with property management software.
  • A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle (mileage allowance provided).
