Part-Time Administrator – Accountancy Practice

Location: New Mills, Derbyshire

Job Type: Part-time (15 hours per week, flexible)

We’re recruiting on behalf of a growing and client-focused accountancy firm based in New Mills. This well-established practice supports a wide range of businesses and individuals, combining traditional service with the latest digital tools in a friendly and professional working environment.

The Role:

Our client is looking to appoint a reliable and organised Administrator to support their busy team. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in an accountancy practice or similar professional setting, but training will be provided for the right person.

Key Responsibilities:

  • General office administration and support
  • Managing emails, incoming calls, and client communication
  • Using Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Word, Excel) and other digital tools
  • Maintaining client records and assisting with document management
  • Supporting the wider team with day-to-day operations

What We’re Looking For:

  • Previous administration experience (accountancy or professional services preferred)
  • Strong IT skills, including confidence with Microsoft 365
  • Excellent communication and organisation skills
  • A professional, friendly, and proactive approach
  • Willingness to learn and support the wider team
