Teaching Assistant – Primary

• Assist in the educational and social development of pupils under the direction and guidance of the headteacher and class teachers.
• Support pupils with learning activities in the classroom alongside other Teaching Assistants and teachers.
• Help manage pupil behavior and engage them in learning.
• Assist with the preparation of the learning environment and the materials used.
• Contribute to the management of pupil safety and support during school activities and trips.
• Work across primary, secondary, or sixth form levels, depending on the school's needs and your expertise.

• Experience as a Teaching Assistant or in a similar caring role with transferable skills is advantageous but not essential.
• Excellent communication and engagement skills.
• Demonstrable understanding, open-mindedness, and kindness.
• A passion for working with pupils with special educational needs.
• Willingness to undergo training to develop necessary skills for the role.
