Our client, an established Accountancy firm in Leicester, over 100 years old, is seeking to recruit a Payroll Officer to support the current growth of the business.

Duties for the Payroll Officer:

  • prepare, process and manage the payrolls for a portfolio of clients
  • organise and plan workload
  • set up new starters and process leavers
  • input Payroll data
  • process statutory payments
  • calculate pension figures
  • make declarations to the Pension Regulator
  • upload pension information
  • year end returns
  • deal with ad-hoc queries

Skills required for the Payroll Officer:

  • up to date knowledge of payroll legislation
  • knowldge of auto enrolment
  • attention to detail
  • excellent written and verbal skills
