We are currently recruiting for a Part-Time HR Director on behalf of a client in the Manufacturing sector, working 3 days per week (office-based).

Our fast-growing SME client is looking for a commercially-driven HRD with a background, for example, in Manufacturing, Retail or Supply Chain/Logistics, together with proven experience of growing a business (current T/O £130m), providing strategic advice at Board level and leading and developing teams.

• The ideal candidate will be senior and experienced and already operating as an HR Director or Head of HR in a similar organisation or in a fast-paced environment such as Retail, Manufacturing, Supply Chain or Fashion. It is likely that you will be CIPD Level 7 qualified.

• You will have substantive experience working as part of a Senior Leadership Team and of supporting and advising at Board-level – someone with commercial “savvy” and with a real presence and credibility to work effectively at Board-level.

• Client-centric and commercially focused, you will have a demonstrable track record of developing HR strategies, policies and programmes designed to “enable” growth and increase revenue and profitability.

• Specific HR experience in areas such as Organisational Design and Development, Culture and Values, Employee Engagement, Pay and Benefits, Recruitment & Resourcing and Employee Relations. Experience working internationally and also in a privately owned, family-run business would be helpful.

• More generally, you will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, good negotiation skills and a reputation for ethics and personal excellence.
