Are you a legal professional with a passion for helping others and a talent for clear, compassionate communication? Thompsons Solicitors is looking for a Legal Advisor to join our Sheffield team and play a key role in delivering our Free Legal Advice service to Union members across the UK.

In this role, you’ll provide general legal advice on a wide range of topics including family law, consumer rights, and disputes. You’ll respond to calls, emails, and messages with professionalism and empathy, conduct legal research, and produce helpful written materials such as fact sheets to support the advice you give. Your attention to detail and commitment to high standards of client care will be essential, as will your ability to stay up to date with legal developments and share your knowledge with colleagues.

We’re looking for someone with experience giving legal advice over the phone and by email, who can demonstrate empathy, professionalism, and a personal touch in every interaction. You’ll need to be confident using Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook, and motivated to grow your skills in a supportive, structured environment.
