Ready to take your shipping and admin skills to the next level? Major Recruitment's Technical Division is thrilled to be partnering exclusively with a leading manufacturing and engineering business in Rochdale to recruit an Operations Support Coordinator.
This is an exciting opportunity for a proactive and detail-driven Operations Support Coordinator to join a well-established and growing company. Starting on part-time hours (with flexibility to suit you), this role is set to grow as you eventually step into the shoes of a key team member preparing for retirement.
What You'll Be Doing as the Operations Support Coordinator:
Coordinating and arranging international shipments and transport.
Preparing and managing all shipping documentation, including customs clearance.
Communicating with suppliers, customers, freight agents, and internal teams.
Handling EUR1, Letters of Credit, invoicing, and petty cash duties.
Resolving purchase order queries with precision and professionalism.
What We're Looking For in an Operations Support Coordinator:
Minimum of 2 years' experience in shipping, logistics, or international trade.
Strong understanding of customs documentation and shipping procedures.
Excellent IT and organisational skills, a natural multitasker with strong attention to detail.
Confident communicator across departments, suppliers, and international clients.
