Financial Administration Assistant

About the Role: We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Financial Services Administrator to join our growing team. This role is ideal for someone with a background or strong interest in financial services, particularly in areas such as pensions, protection, investments, and mortgages.

You’ll play a key part in supporting our financial advisers by producing high-quality reports, conducting research, and liaising with providers to ensure accurate and compliant case submissions.

Key Responsibilities:

· Writing financial reports tailored to each adviser’s area of advice

· Preparing and maintaining client files for advisers

· Supporting advice areas including (but not limited to) pensions, investments, protection, and mortgages

· Conducting research to assist in the preparation and implementation of financial planning cases

· Contacting product providers to obtain up-to-date, accurate information

· Using internal systems and software to finalise and submit cases

· Performing basic administration duties as needed

· Ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and legislative requirements

What We’re Looking For:

· Some understanding of pensions, investments, protection, and/or mortgage products

· Strong written communication skills and attention to detail

· Ability to manage multiple tasks and work to deadlines

· Confident using technology and learning new systems

· Must have proficiency and past experience of using Microsoft office (word/excel etc)

· Previous experience in a financial services environment (desirable but not essential)
