Location: Harrogate, Office Based (no hybrid working)

Salary: Negotiable depending on experience

Hours: Full Time preferred but Part Time considered

Our client is anindependent financial adviser firm, situated in central Harrogate.

The Role

They are looking for a Financial Services Administrator to join their team.

You would be working as part of a team, supporting the Advisers and Financial Planners by liaising with policy providers, updating and maintaining client records and processing new business applications, fund switches, income and withdrawal requests and monitoring the process through to completion.

They are looking for someone with good communication and numeracy skills, coupled with knowledge of Investment products, pensions, Investments, SIPPs and SSAS’s.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Live dealing (on line investment instructions)
  • At least 2 years’ experience working within the Financial Services industry, ideally, in a similar role within an IFA / Financial Advisory environment.
  • Excellent standard of written and verbal communication;
  • Possess the ability to work using your own initiative, the preferred candidate must have a can-do attitude.
  • Ability to work with a team and on your own and manage own time and workload.
  • Ensuring clients’ records are kept up to date on the back-office system (Xplan)
