Day-to-day tasks of the role:
Collaborate with the marketing team to develop a comprehensive public relations strategy that enhances brand visibility, improves company reputation, and drives business expansion.
Build and maintain strong relationships with journalists, influencers, and industry figures.
Craft headline-worthy press releases that showcase the businesses unique expertise, reflect the company values, and highlight the extensive product range.
Actively engage with the media to pitch compelling stories, schedule media kit deliveries, coordinate interviews, and respond promptly to inbound enquiries.
Stay informed about industry and wider trends to identify emerging opportunities.
Monitor, evaluate, and report on the effectiveness of PR campaigns.
Coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure scientific accuracy and alignment with the broader company direction.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Minimum of 3 years’ experience in brand media public relations, either in an agency or in-house role.
Strong content writing skills tailored for both B2B and B2C audiences.
Ability to explain highly technical concepts to a general audience.
Creative storytelling skills and the ability to support new ideas with data.
Proactive networking and outreach skills.
Keen attention to detail.
Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
Results-oriented work ethic.
Experience with media databases such as Vuelio.
