We’re working exclusively with a fast-growing commercial finance provider based in the heart of Altrincham to recruit a Collections Executive on a part-time basis.

This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented, proactive individual to play a key role in the ongoing success of a short-term cashflow lending business that boasts one of the lowest default rates in the market.

The working week can be structured around the successful candidate’s availability, making this ideal for someone looking for flexibility alongside a hands-on, impactful role.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Managing collections activity for a portfolio of SME and business customers
• Monitoring arrears and early signs of missed payments
• Proactively engaging with customers to resolve overdue accounts in a timely, sensitive, and effective manner
• Maintaining clear records and accurate logs of all contact and actions taken
• Collaborating with internal teams to manage risk and ensure a consistently low default rate
• Contributing to the continuous improvement of collections strategies and processes

Ideal Background

• Previous experience in collections, credit control, or arrears management – ideally within financial services, commercial lending or SME finance
• A proactive, ‘on-it’ approach to portfolio management
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to handle sensitive customer conversations professionally
• Comfortable using systems and maintaining accurate administrative records
• Experience in short-term business lending or cashflow finance is desirable but not essential
