We are hiring for an accounts manager to join a small, long established accountancy firm based in Brighton, East Sussex.

The firm have a loyal client base of small businesses and freelancers, and they offer a range of bookkeeping, accountancy and tax services, with a specialism in the digital and tech sectors. They pride themselves in providing a positive, friendly and customer focused service.

The role will involve preparing and reviewing a range of work, on-boarding and advising new clients, managing work flow and supporting and developing more junior team members. There is a relaxed and flexible work environment, and full time or part time hours will be considered.

About you:

• ACA/ACCA/AAT qualified accountant
• Extensive experience of working in a UK accountancy firm, dealing with small businesses
• Self motivated, organised and an excellent communicator
• Live within reasonable commuting distance of Brighton
