Female Support Worker
Pay rate: £14
Shift Pattern: 9am-4pm on Fridays and Saturdays
Are you looking for a meaningful role where you can make a real difference in someone's life? We're seeking a dedicated support worker to accompany an extraordinary individual who lives in their own home in Lingwood. This person is more than their communication difficulties, autism, and occasional challenging behaviour - they're someone who loves swimming, visiting the zoo, enjoying a pint at the pub, and strolling by the seaside.
To support them in exploring their passions and interests, we're looking for someone who knows the local area, is familiar with Lingwood, and can drive them to their favourite destinations. A full UK Driving Licence is essential for this role.
As their support worker, you'll play a vital role in enriching their life by facilitating trips out, sharing activities, and providing empathetic support. Your experience and understanding will help empower this individual to live their life to the fullest. To be considered, you'll need to bring relevant experience and a genuine passion for person-centred support.
What will your shift involve?
In this role, you will be providing high-quality care on a {2:1 basis}, ensuring that the individual you support receives compassionate and attentive care tailored to their specific needs. Your responsibilities will include engaging with them in meaningful activities and taking them out in the community to promote their social interaction and well-being. Additionally, you will support with household tasks to maintain a clean and organized living environment that fosters comfort and independence. Clear and confident communication in their preferred manner will be essential to building a strong and trusting relationship.
