Payroll Manager - Remote, Part-Time Role

JSS are pleased to be supporting our client; a successful company who are based in Hertfordshire, recruiting an excellent part time and fully remote, payroll manager. This is a perfect payroll manager role for someone hands-on who can manage all aspects of payroll in medium sized business. This role will be 3 days per week and fully remote but you will need to be able to visit the office in Hertfordshire occasionally.

Job Description:

The Payroll Manager will report into the Financial Controller and duties will include but are not limited to:

  • Processing of all aspects of monthly payroll for over 100 staff, calculating tax pensions and other contributions
  • Employee payroll administration and troubleshooting - managing queries, processing new starters and leavers etc
  • Guidance and support to employees on all payroll matters, including queries related to calculations of salaries, bonuses, pensions etc
  • Manage all compliance
  • Payroll statutory reporting, CIS, and reporting to HMRC

Profile:

This Payroll Manager role requires:

  • Extensive experience of payroll management and administration of all aspects of in-house payroll
  • Ability to manage and process all elements of payroll, manage queries, solve issues and meet deadlines
  • Experience managing payroll for over 100 staff
  • A Payroll qualification is desirable

  • A competitive salary of circa £45,000 - £50,000 full time equivalent
  • Part-time 3 days per week
  • Fully remote
