Finance Manager - Part Time

We are working with a dynamic and growing construction company based in Clapham Junction, who are now looking to bring an experienced Finance Manager on board to support their financial operations on a part-time basis (3 days per week).

This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially minded finance professional who thrives in a hands-on role and is looking for flexibility. You’ll be joining a close-knit team and playing a key role in managing the day-to-day finance function, providing insights to support business decisions and ensuring strong financial controls are in place as the company continues to grow.

Main Duties & Responsibilities

  • Updating transactions on Quickbooks and relevant spreadsheets correctly and efficiently
  • Processing sales invoices using Quickbooks
  • Producing management accounts
  • Preparing annual budgets
  • Producing year end accounts and monthly, quarterly and annual reports to management
  • Undertaking profit share calculations
  • Credit control and debtor management
  • Payroll
  • Preparing VAT returns
  • Bank reconciliation
  • Ensuring company vehicles payments such as MOT, insurance is up to date
  • Preparing and updating payment sheets for sub-contractors and suppliers
  • Arranging sub-contractor payments
  • Calculating and payments of CIS
  • Credit control
  • Dealing with HMRC

Skills & Experience Requirements

  • Quickbooks experience
  • Construction/Property industry experience preferred
  • Experience with CIS
  • Excellent organisational, interpersonal, communication and customer service skills
  • Co-operative and adaptable attitude with ability to use own initiative
  • Advanced MS Office skills
