A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a meticulous and enthusiastic Senior Accountant to become part of a forward-moving business that offers comprehensive accounting services to a varied clientele.

Primary Duties:

• Preparing and reviewing financial accounts in line with FRS102(1A) and FRS105 standards for small to medium enterprises.
• Handling personal and corporate tax returns, alongside overseeing VAT submissions.
• Engaging with clients regularly to provide current financial insights and strategic recommendations.
• Assisting in the development of junior staff through supervision and mentoring.
• Staying informed of regulatory changes and evolving industry standards.
• Cultivating robust relationships with clients to uphold a high standard of service.
• Delivering advisory input on commercial matters affecting clients.

Essential Skills & Experience:

• ACA, ACCA, QBE or equivalent certification.
• Demonstrated background working in an accountancy firm.
• Strong communication abilities, both written and verbal.
• Capable of working independently as well as part of a team.
• Exceptional attention to detail and dedication to high-quality outcomes.
