Lecturer/Assessor - Early Years

Join our client's dedicated team, where we offer high-quality education and training in the Early Years sector. We are looking for a part-time Lecturer/Assessor to train and assess Work Based Learning (WBL) learners, including Apprentices, and to teach qualifications from Level 2 to Level 3.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Train and assess Work Based Learning (WBL) learners, including Apprentices, to determine their occupational competencies within the workplace.
  • Teach on qualifications from Level 2 to Level 3 in the Early Years sector.
  • Monitor learners' progress across their study programmes.
  • Engage with local employers to maintain excellent links and ensure alignment with industry standards.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Minimum of a Level 3 NVQ/VRQ qualification in Early Years/Teaching Assistant (preferably a degree in the relevant subject).
  • Assessor qualification (L3 Certificate in Assessing Vocational Achievement or equivalent).
  • Level 5 teaching qualification recognised by the FE sector, or willingness and ability to obtain this qualification, supported by the College.
  • Teaching and assessing experience in Early Years.
  • Minimum of 3 years’ recent experience of working in Early Years, both Education and Care.
