Our client is a well-established IFA business, set up during the early 1990s. The firm’s aim is to provide simple and professional advice to make sure all their clients achieve their financial goals - a philosophy which hasn’t changed in over than 30 years.

THE ROLE

Due to an imminent retirement, the business is now keen to hire an experienced Paraplanner to join its support team. The Paraplanner position is for 3 or 4 days per week and is office based. Reporting to the Head of Administration, the Paraplanner’s key duties will include:

• Processing new business
• Conducting research
• Writing Suitability Reports (from template)
• Updating advisers and clients on the progress of new cases
• Ad hoc administrative duties
• Using Intelligent Office back-office system

REQUIREMENTS

Candidates interested in the Paraplanner vacancy will need the following criteria:

• Level 4 qualified
• At least 2 years’ Paraplanning experience, ideally within an IFA environment
• Strong report-writing skills
• Intelligent Office experience preferred
• Live a commutable distance from Cheam, Surrey

REMUNERATION / PACKAGE

The package for the Paraplanner vacancy is as follows:

• Salary between £40,000-£52,000 (pro rata)
• Discretionary bonus
• 5% employer contribution pension (Aviva)
• Death in Service (x 4)
• 30 days annual leave (22 days plus 8 further days between Christmas and New Year as the office is closed during this period)
• Study support
