A leading women’s charity is recruiting a Deputy CEO to provide strong internal leadership and operational oversight. This is a key leadership position with direct line management responsibilities, central to the effective delivery of high-quality, trauma-informed services for people affected by sexual violence across Edinburgh and the Lothians.

The successful candidate will bring substantial experience in service and operational development, as well as a strong commitment to staff wellbeing. You will play a pivotal role in shaping and implementing the charity’s strategic plan, ensuring approaches remain person-centred, effective, and responsive to the evolving needs of trauma survivors.

Experience Required

• Senior-level experience in operational leadership within a relevant organisation.
• Understanding of the gendered dynamics and broad ranging of impacts of sexual violence, including rape, sexual assault, child sexual abuse and commercial sexual exploitation.
• Demonstrated experience in managing and supervising staff within trauma-informed settings.
• Proven track record in service planning, delivery and evaluation.
• Knowledge of safeguarding legislation and operational compliance frameworks.
• Experience managing operational risk and internal reporting processes.
