Marketing & Communications Officer

Basedn central Norwich offices, this role is offered on a part-time basis of 22.5 hours per week (salary £28,000 - £30,500 pro-rata) alongside workplace pension contribution, death in service, a generous annual leave entitlement, eye care scheme, 24/7 employee assistance programme, cycle-to-work scheme, career development pathways and training & wellbeing initiatives.

The day to day

  • Creating effective marketing plans that deliver against key objectives
  • Undertaking reviews of all communication outlets and providing recommendations
  • Managing the monthly content schedule across social media platforms, increasing reach and reputation
  • Forming regular email newsletters and correspondence that promote events/activities
  • Assist with the development of events and campaigns to maximise financial support
  • Monitoring the external landscape including press and social media
  • Designing graphics for social media use, adhering to brand guidelines

You will have/be

  • Previous employment experience within a marketing and communications focused role
  • Experienced in creating content for digital platforms (socials, website etc.)
  • Ability to confidently deliver and evaluate marketing and comms strategies
  • Capabilities in managing social media platforms, from planning, engagement and analysis
  • Experience in supporting with events and campaigns
  • High quality written skills to create materials tailored to audiences
  • Understanding of SEO and digital skills including email marketing, CMS and graphic design
