Hays Accountancy & Finance are working with a lovely SME group of companies looking to hire a part-time Bookkeeper.
Your new role
This is a varied role which will see you undertaking a wide range of tasks not limited to; forensic bookkeeping, ledgers and invoicing, credit control, VAT, reconciliations, cashiering, banking, payroll administration and basic intercompany accounting and reporting to group as well as administrative and customer service tasks.
What you'll need to succeed
You will have extensive bookkeeping and accounting experience, part or qualified AAT would be desirable. You will be used to working in a varied finance role in an SME environment and be used to "mucking in" with a variety of tasks to help the team succeed. You will have excellent customer service and communication skills, used to working with a whole range of internal and external stakeholders at all levels. You will be a self-starter as the role is working independently as the sole finance person. You will be living in the Lincoln area as the role is predominantly site-based. The organisation are flexible on hours of work and are open to different working patterns from 24 hours + a week.
