Your Role:

As a SEN Maths Class Teacher, you will:

  • Lead a small, well-supported class of pupils with a range of needs, including Autism, SEMH, and communication difficulties
  • Deliver engaging, tailored lessons based on individual EHCPs
  • Build a calm, inclusive, and trauma-informed learning environment
  • Work collaboratively with SENCOs, therapists, support staff, and families
  • Foster independence, emotional regulation, and personal progress in every pupil

The Ideal SEN Maths Class Teacher:

  • QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) - essential
  • Experience in SEN or inclusive mainstream settings - desirable
  • Strong understanding of Autism, SEMH, and complex learning needs
  • A compassionate, resilient and reflective teaching style
  • Excellent classroom management and interpersonal skills
  • A genuine commitment to inclusion, personalised learning, and helping each child thrive
  • Ability to commute to Dunstable and work full-time from September
