Sports Centre PT & Receptionist
An opportunity has arisen for a Sports Centre PT & Receptionist on a 6-hour per week contract basis. There is onsite parking facilities and cycle storage available, you will also have access to the school’s gym, one to one wellbeing support and support to complete CPD which is applicable for role.
The Sports Centre is part of Gloucestershire’s largest comprehensive school with over 200 staff and 1,800 students. The centre has a fitness suite and 3G sports pitches, whilst not in use by students on weekday evenings and throughout the weekend, many of these high-quality facilities are available to let.
You will be working Friday’s, 16:00-22:00, plus any PT sessions of your choice. As a Personal Trainer you will be able to use the facilities to provide personal training sessions to your private clients. The use of the facilities for your private sessions will be free for the first 6 months, after this a fee will be negotiated.
The purpose of this Sports Centre PT & Receptionist role is to:
- Undertake reception duties to provide a quality customer service to visitors of the Sports Centre.
- Supporting the Booking & Events Manager in leading all associated activities in order to best support the school in achieving its strategic objectives.
- Overseeing the running of let facilities whilst on shift, providing assistance and support to school facility users, promoting a customer-focussed environment, and generating excellent public relations and customer care.
- Supporting and contributing to the overall ethos, work, and values of the school.
- Level 3 Personal Training Qualification
- Commitment to complete relevant training (first aid, COSHH, Health & safety awareness, safeguarding)
- Ability to competently use Microsoft Office packages, to include Word and Excel
- Experience of working in a Gym, supporting & inducting clients on equipment.
- Knowledge of cleaning systems
- Have high standards of work
- First aid experience and understanding
- Willing to undertake trainings courses that are relevant to the post and that are required for health & safety purposes.
