We’re supporting a well-established, family-owned construction business in their search for an experienced Bookkeeper to join them on a part-time, self-employed basis. This hands-on role will suit someone confident working independently and looking for a long-term commitment with a friendly, close-knit team. You’ll play a key part in keeping the finance function running smoothly, with flexibility around working days.
Key Responsibilities:
Day-to-day bookkeeping using Xero
Management of sales and purchase ledgers
Invoice discount financing support
Cash and credit card reconciliation
Supporting payment runs and general accounts admin
What we’re looking for:
Several years’ experience in a similar role
Proficiency with Xero accounting software
Solid understanding of both creditors and debtors
Ability to manage your workload with minimal supervision
Ideally local to Altrincham area, with ability to work on-site
