This is a growing education and training business based in London. They provide high quality services and a wide range of educational programmes supporting thousands of adults and children. The business also offer tutoring and career training for securing professional roles.

Due to internal restructuring, they are now looking to hire a qualified part-time Finance Manager to support the running of the finance function on a remote basis (20 hours per week).

Role

The part-time Finance Manager, will work closely with the Director in overseeing all aspects of financial management across the group. They will take on a number of key duties including:

• Overseeing budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting processes.
• Manage cash flow, producing forecasts for operational requirements.
• Leading the external finance team ensuring efficient performance.
• Establishing and maintaining robust financial controls.
• Providing financial analysis and insights to support decision-making.
• Building strong relationships with internal teams and external stakeholders.
• Support commercial activities through financial modelling.

Profile

The ideal profile for this part-time Finance Manager position, should have the following attributes:

• Qualified Accountant - ACA/ACCA/CIMA
• Experience within a hands-on Finance Manager capacity, ideally worked part-time previously.
• Ownership of management accounts and business partnering.
• Experience using Xero would be advantageous.
• Background in Education would be advantageous.

Salary & Benefits

£55,000 to £65,000 (full-time equivalent, will be pro rata to approx £30-35k) plus benefits including:

• Remote working
• Flexible hours - 20 hours per week
• 25 days holiday + bank holidays (pro-rata)
• Standard pension scheme

The salary range/rates of pay is dependent upon your experience, qualifications or training.
