Job Opportunity: Adult Support Worker – Doncaster Council

Location: Across two sites in Doncaster DN7 5HH and DN3 3TB (1 week in each at a time)

Contract Type: Permanent

Salary: £24,397 per annum 8.5% weekend working allowance

Working Pattern: Early and late shifts on a 7-day rota. There is a 20-hour and a 30-hour position.

What You’ll Do:

• Provide person-centred care and support to adults with varying needs
• Promote independence, dignity, and wellbeing
• Work collaboratively with colleagues, families, and other professionals
• Support service users with daily living activities, including personal care, mobility, and social engagement
• Maintain accurate records and contribute to care planning

What We’re Looking For:

• Experience in adult social care or a strong desire to learn with experience of learning disabilities and mental health
• A caring, empathetic, and resilient nature
• Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends (early and late shifts)
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of vulnerable adults
