Salary (Instructor): £31,586 - £34,314 FTE (Pay award pending)

Hours: 37 hours per week, term time only + 5 INSET days

Salary: In line with the National Teachers' Pay Scales

We are seeking a dedicated professional to deliver engaging PE and outdoor Education instructor to pupils with special educational needs and disabilities in the education ands training sector in Luton. About the Role:

  • As our PE and Outdoor Education Instructor / Teacher of PE, you will:
  • Deliver accessible and inclusive PE lessons and outdoor learning experiences to pupils aged 7-16
  • Support pupils in achieving progress relative to their individual starting points, both physically and socially
  • Plan safe, creative sessions that promote teamwork, self-confidence, physical literacy, and wellbeing
  • Work collaboratively with classroom staff and therapists to integrate physical learning with wider personal development goals
  • Monitor and track pupils' progress, adapting activities to suit diverse needs and abilities

What We're Looking For:

  • A relevant degree or teaching qualification (QTS is required for the Teacher of PE route)
  • Experience working with children or young people, preferably in an SEN, PRU, or inclusive setting
  • A solid understanding of inclusive PE practice, behaviour management, and trauma-informed support
  • A flexible, proactive approach with a genuine passion for physical activity and holistic development
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people
  • Ability to commute to Luton
