37 hour working week I A 30-hour reduced week can be considered

Are you a qualified finance professional ready to make a meaningful impact within the finance arena of this organisation?

Supporting the new & highly energised CEO, you will lead & manage the financial affairs, ensuring compliance, transparency, & strategic financial planning with an annual budget of around £1 million.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Lead financial planning, reporting, and compliance
  • Prepare monthly management accounts, annual budgets, and financial statements
  • Manage payroll, pensions, VAT, and insurance
  • Oversee internal and external audits, risk management, and financial controls
  • Maintain the Asset Register and ensure GDPR compliance
  • Supervise an Assistant Finance Officer

What We’re Looking For

  • A recognised financial qualification (AAT, CIPFA, ACCA, CIMA, etc.)
  • Proven experience in financial management & reporting
  • Proficiency in Accounting Software & Excel
  • Experience in payroll, pensions, and financial risk management
  • An understanding of public sector financial regulations & audit requirements would be beneficial but not essential
