Are you a qualified finance professional ready to make a meaningful impact within the finance arena of this organisation?
Supporting the new & highly energised CEO, you will lead & manage the financial affairs, ensuring compliance, transparency, & strategic financial planning with an annual budget of around £1 million.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Lead financial planning, reporting, and compliance
- Prepare monthly management accounts, annual budgets, and financial statements
- Manage payroll, pensions, VAT, and insurance
- Oversee internal and external audits, risk management, and financial controls
- Maintain the Asset Register and ensure GDPR compliance
- Supervise an Assistant Finance Officer
What We’re Looking For
- A recognised financial qualification (AAT, CIPFA, ACCA, CIMA, etc.)
- Proven experience in financial management & reporting
- Proficiency in Accounting Software & Excel
- Experience in payroll, pensions, and financial risk management
- An understanding of public sector financial regulations & audit requirements would be beneficial but not essential
