Epilepsy Scotland is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Finance Manager to lead their financial operations. This pivotal role is responsible for managing all aspects of their financial systems — from budget preparation and cash flow management to producing monthly management accounts and facilitating their annual audit. You’ll work closely with the Chief Executive and report to the Board, ensuring high standards of financial integrity, reporting, and sustainability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain and oversee SAGE accounting system and all financial procedures
• Manage all income and expenditure, payroll preparation, and supplier payments
• Lead annual budget planning and provide regular budget reconciliations
• Prepare monthly management accounts and financial reports for Board meetings
• Coordinate annual audit and statutory accounts
• Monitor cash flow and advise on financial sustainability

What We’re Looking For:

• Proven experience in financial management (ideally in the charity sector)
• Strong working knowledge of SAGE and financial reporting
• Excellent organisational and communication skills
• Ability to present financial information clearly to non-finance stakeholders
