Chase Medical have an exciting vacancy for a Responsible Individual to join a highly respected client of ours who provides residential care services for children and young people in the Bradford area. They have a well-established team and offer fantastic areas of growth and opportunity.

As the Responsible Individual, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the home operates in accordance with Ofsted regulations and that the children's welfare is at the heart of every decision. You will work closely with the Registered Manager(s), senior leadership team, and external agencies to ensure the highest standards of care and safeguarding.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure the home is compliant with The Children's Homes (England) Regulations 2015 and Quality Standards.
• Oversee safeguarding practices and promote a culture of safety and transparency.
• Monitor and evaluate performance, outcomes, and continuous improvement.
• Support and challenge the Registered Manager(s) to maintain high standards of care and leadership.
• Act as the point of accountability with Ofsted and other regulatory bodies.
• Promote therapeutic, trauma-informed care principles throughout the service.

About You

• Proven experience in a senior role within children's residential care.
• In-depth knowledge of relevant legislation, particularly The Children's Homes Regulations and Quality Standards.
• Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management for Residential Childcare (or equivalent).
• Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
• Able to demonstrate a commitment to safeguarding and child welfare.
• Eligibility to be registered as the RI with Ofsted.
