Senior Electrical Project Engineer
Location: Halesowen, Birmingham
Salary: £50,000 – £60,000 per annum (depending on experience)

A well-established engineering organisation is currently seeking a highly skilled Senior Electrical Project Engineer to take ownership of electrical/control system design and project delivery across the UK and EMEA.

The Opportunity
As a Senior Electrical Project Engineer, you'll lead end-to-end project work, from concept design through to commissioning. You’ll be instrumental in ensuring full technical compliance, seamless integration, and high-performance system delivery for industrial projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of innovative, value-driven electrical and control systems.
• Collaborate with OEMs, system integrators, and suppliers to ensure smooth project execution.
• Manage electrical/control system documentation and specifications.
• Conduct risk assessments and ensure adherence to all relevant industry regulations (e.g., Machinery Directive).
• Supervise internal and external suppliers and contractors.
• Support site work management and system commissioning across EMEA.
• Identify and introduce new technologies to maintain competitive advantage.

• Degree or HNC in Electrical Engineering (ONC with significant experience also considered).
• Strong understanding of electrical systems, design standards, and statutory regulations.
• Proven experience producing and interpreting electrical drawings.
• PLC programming experience and basic fault-finding capability.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office and Microsoft Project.
