Waking Nights Support Worker – Brighouse (2 Nights per Week)

We are currently seeking an experienced and compassionate Waking Nights Support Worker to join a friendly residential service in Brighouse supporting adults with learning disabilities.

Role: Waking Nights Support Worker

Hours: Part-time – 18 hours per week (2 nights, including weekends/bank holidays on a rota)

Pay: £24,892 – £26,096 pro rata (depending on qualifications & experience)

The Role:

You’ll be providing overnight support in a welcoming residential setting, helping residents feel safe, comfortable, and supported throughout the night. The role involves promoting independence, offering reassurance, and responding to individual needs.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Providing overnight care and support tailored to each individual
  • Encouraging independence and confidence
  • Ensuring a safe and secure environment throughout the night
  • Working as part of a committed and caring team

About You:

  • Previous care experience preferred but not essential
  • Compassionate, patient, and reliable
  • Able to work nights on a rota basis, including some weekends/bank holidays
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
