Due to continued growth, they are now looking to welcome a Bookkeeper to their team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking for either full-time or part-time hours within a supportive and collaborative working environment.

• Managing day-to-day bookkeeping duties for a range of clients including sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies

• Processing financial transactions and maintaining accurate records across multiple client accounts

• Preparing and submitting VAT returns in line with HMRC deadlines

• Liaising with clients via email, telephone, and video calls to provide support and build long-term professional relationships

• Supporting the wider team with ad hoc administrative and financial tasks as needed

• Using cloud-based accounting software to keep client records up to date and compliant

• Proven experience in a bookkeeping role, ideally within an accountancy practice environment or self employed

• Confident using accounting software such as Xero, QuickBooks, or similar platforms

• Strong communication skills – both written and verbal

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• AAT qualified or qualified by experience would be ideal

• Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills

• Full-time (37.5 hours) or part-time (minimum 25 hours) considered

• 20 days holiday + bank holidays, increasing with length of service

• Central Beverley location with car parking available

• Easily accessible via public transport

• Death in service and healthcare scheme being introduced this year
