Real Estate Professional Support Lawyer - 5 years'+

A leading Scottish firm is seeking an experienced Professional Support Lawyer (PSL) to join its Real Estate team in Edinburgh on a part-time basis (2-3 days per week). This is an excellent opportunity for a property lawyer who enjoys knowledge sharing, training and legal innovation, and is looking for a flexible role within a collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Knowledge Management

  • Maintain and manage all Scottish Property Online (SPO) resources
  • Develop systems to capture and share valuable knowledge across the team
  • Encourage contribution of internal know-how and insights

Online Services

  • Set up and manage online client accounts and eservices

Precedents and Styles

  • Draft, update and maintain a comprehensive suite of precedents, guides and manuals
  • Regularly source and update useful styles from the team

Learning and Training

  • Support the creation and testing of automated property documents
  • Contribute to the planning and delivery of internal training sessions, including for trainees, assistants and paralegals
  • Assist with induction programmes and ongoing development activities

Business Development and Marketing

  • Liaise with BD and marketing teams to support the team’s external profile
  • Edit and manage website content and encourage regular publication of articles

About You:

  • Qualified solicitor with experience in commercial property or a strong knowledge of Scottish real estate law
  • Strong communication, drafting and organisational skills
  • Comfortable working autonomously and proactively
  • A collaborative mindset and enthusiasm for supporting learning and development
