Are you a reliable and friendly driver looking for a rewarding part-time opportunity? We are seeking a dedicated Mini Bus Driver to join our client's team in Reigate, where you'll play a vital role in ensuring the safety and comfort of students as they travel to and from school.

Position: Mini Bus Driver
Location: Reigate
Contract Type: Permanent, Part-Time (Term Time Only)
Working Hours: Variable according to the route

Your Role:

As a Mini Bus Driver, your primary responsibility will be to operate the school's vehicles, ensuring a safe and enjoyable journey for our students and staff. Here's what you can expect to do:

• Drive a minibus or people carrier with care and responsibility.
• Safeguard the comfort and welfare of pupils and staff during transport.
• Conduct daily vehicle checks and perform basic maintenance when necessary.
• Maintain cleanliness and roadworthiness of the vehicle, both inside and outside.
• Report any vehicle defects, incidents, or accidents promptly.
• Refuel vehicles as needed.
• Cover for absent colleagues when required.
• Uphold a positive company image through professional attire and conduct.
• Follow health and safety guidelines diligently.
• Complete any other associated duties as assigned by the manager.

Training Provided:

We believe in continuous learning! You will have the opportunity to attend relevant training courses, including:

• Minibus Driver Awareness Scheme
• First Aid at Work training

What We're Looking For:

We are seeking candidates who meet the following essential criteria:

• A clean driving licence (minimum 2 years).
• Current, valid D1 unrestricted or PCV licence, or D1 restricted (if obtained prior to 01/01/1997).
• Aged 25+ (for insurance purposes).
• Experience driving larger vehicles.
• Excellent communication skills with a pleasant and approachable personality.
• A patient and reliable demeanour.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Flexibility in working arrangements and sensitivity to user needs.
• Willingness to undertake additional training as required.

Desirable Qualifications:

• PCV licence holder.
• Familiarity with the geographical area of Surrey.
