Part-time Purchase Ledger Clerk

Location: Grantham
Hours: Part-time (3 full days or 4–5 hours per day, flexible)
Salary: £26,000–£28,000 (pro rata)
Holiday: 20 days (pro rata)

A well-established organisation based in Grantham is seeking an experienced Purchase Ledger Clerk to join their finance team on a part-time basis. This role is ideal for someone with proven purchase ledger experience who is accurate, process-driven, and enjoys working in a structured environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Accurately process and input purchase invoices
  • Match invoices to purchase orders and delivery notes
  • Reconcile supplier statements and resolve queries promptly
  • Ensure all purchase ledger transactions are completed in line with established processes
  • Liaise with the Purchase Ledger Supervisor and other internal teams as needed
What We’re Looking For
  • Essential: Proven purchase ledger experience
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to follow established processes and meet deadlines
  • Confident working with numbers and financial data
  • Good communication skills for dealing with suppliers and colleagues
Desirable Skills & Experience
  • Familiarity with finance systems and Excel/spreadsheets
  • Interest in improving processes and exploring automation tools
