Salary: £34,233 - A Civil Service Pension with an employer contribution of 28.97%

The Capability and Compliance Team within the Department for Transport (DfT) Resourcing Group supports hiring managers across the central department and executive agencies (DVLA, DVSA, VCA, MCA, ATE). We equip them with the skills and tools needed to run compliant, effective recruitment campaigns that align with the Department’s strategic goals.
This is a part-time position (17 hours per week) for a Capability and Compliance Partner to join team, you will be responsible for ensuring that hiring managers have the training and tools required to run their own recruitment campaigns, including for contractor recruitment. This will involve working with business areas to identify gaps in knowledge and address these, as well as using data provided by the team on common queries and issues.
Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Build and maintain excellent relationships with hiring managers and business units to understand their recruitment and strategic requirements
- Ensure that your team is working within agreed service levels for activities, including responding the hiring manager queries and conducting quality checks
- Identify and share recruitment trends with the wider team

About you
To be successful in this role you will need to have the following experience:
- Experience of working in a recruitment function with good knowledge of the recruitment process
- Experience of working within a high-pressured and fast-paced team with the ability to organise and prioritise workloads to maximise productivity, whilst maintaining a high-quality service level to stakeholders
- Experience of creating and delivering guidance and training material (either formally or informally)
- Experience of building and maintaining excellent relationships with stakeholders
- Experience of using and analysing data to inform decision making
