Health and Social Care Lecturer (Part-Time)

We are excited to offer the opportunity to join a college as a Lecturer in Health & Social Care. This part-time role is perfect for someone passionate about education and making a significant impact on the lives of both young people and adults. We are looking for an experienced Health Care Practitioner to deliver elements of the T Level Health programme. Familiarity with T Level is advantageous but not essential.


Health & Social Care Lecturer
  • Annual Salary: Up to £38,186.75 pro rata, depending on skills and experience
  • Location: Surrey
  • Job Type: Part-time (18.5 hours per week)
Day-to-day of the role of a Health and Social Care Lecturer:
  • Deliver engaging and effective teaching sessions in Health & Social Care, including elements of the T Level Health program.
  • Utilise various teaching methods to cater to diverse learning styles and needs.
  • Assess and evaluate students' progress, providing constructive feedback to promote their professional growth.
  • Participate in curriculum development activities to ensure the content is current and relevant.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance teaching practices and student learning experiences.
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and attendance.
Required Skills & Qualifications for the Health and Social Care Lecturer:
  • Degree/HND or relevant professional qualifications in Health & Social Care.
  • Excellent communication and time management skills.
  • A caring and supportive approach, with a strong desire to see students succeed.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Skilled in the use of IT and familiar with educational technology tools.
