Management Accountant

£55 - 55k FTE part time

circa £28 per hour

16 hours, over 2 or 3 days a week

We are seeking a Management Accountant to oversee our clients' financial operations, ensuring accurate monthly management accounts and effective bookkeeping practices. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in finance management, looking for a flexible part-time position.

Day-to-day of the role:

• Build and maintain a monthly cashflow forecast process.
• Prepare detailed monthly cashflow forecasts and management accounts.
• Review monthly sales and debtors reports to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Liaise with both local and overseas external accountants and tax advisors.
• Produce comprehensive monthly and quarterly finance reports for the senior management team.
• Oversee the monthly stock take and stock validation processes.
• Manage bookkeeping tasks and ensure accurate data entry in Sage Line 50.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• PQ or Qualified
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with proficiency in negotiation, report writing, and presentations.
• Excellent analytical skills and computer literacy.
• High level of organisation skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
• Experience in financial management and bookkeeping.
