We are currently working exclusively with a successful data management company who now wish to appoint Finance and Risk Manager. Reporting to MD this is an excellent opportunity to join a growing business as Finance and Risk Manager. The role of Finance and Risk Manager will maintain all accounting records for the business including preparing bank reconciliations, calculating accruals & prepayments and invoicing. • Preparation of monthly management pack including cashflow forecasting
• Preparing annual statements including liaising with external auditors
• Preparation of annual budget
• Review the tax return and liaise with tax advisors
• Monitoring cash and funding requirements
• Overseeing Risk Control Self Assessments (RCSA)
• In partnership with senior management determine the level of risk appetite for the business

The Company:

• A successful and growing specialist data management business. Offering specialist services as part of a large European financial services group. Hybrid working; 2 days per week work from home.

The Person:

• Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
• Experienced of working in a small finance team preferably with financial services or IT. Other professional services sectors will be considered.
• Prior exposure to RCSA’s would be beneficial
• Willing to review current process and procedures and make recommendations
• Strong interpersonal skills. Verbal and written.
• Intermediate/advanced Excel.
• Experience of MS Business Central would be beneficial

Salary:

• £55k - £63k (pro rate for part-time) plus bonus, pension, dental/health, 25 days
