Senior Management Accountant – Hybrid / Flexible Working

We’re delighted to be supporting a successful, forward-looking organisation that is currently looking to welcome a qualified Senior Management Accountant into its finance team.

Reporting directly to the Head of Finance, this role offers genuine ownership and visibility. Not only producing key numbers for the business, but you’ll also be a key partner to the wider business, turning financial insight into action and helping shape decisions.

What you’ll be doing:

• Leading the monthly management accounts process and ensuring reporting deadlines are met.
• Playing a key role in budgeting and forecasting, ensuring plans are accurate and achievable.
• Partnering with budget holders and department heads to translate numbers into meaningful actions.
• Producing reports and analysis to support both day-to-day operations and strategic planning.
• Reviewing P&L performance, identifying trends and providing insightful commentary.
• Managing reconciliations, journals and variance analysis with precision.
• Supporting year-end and audit requirements.
• Team leader, coaching and mentoring a junior finance team to support their ongoing development.

What we’re looking for:

• A qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
• Strong background in management accounts and financial analysis.
• A confident communicator who enjoys collaborating with stakeholders across the business.
• Analytical and detail-focused, with the ability to present financial information clearly.
• Advanced Excel skills and comfortable with financial systems.
