Job Title: Trainee SEN / Hospitality Tutor
Location: Home/Field based - Must be flexible with travel
Salary: £35,000 FTE (pro rata £26,250)
Type: Part Time, Permanent (30 hours per week - days to be discussed with your recruiter)
Essential Criteria:
Must hold either a Level 3 qualification - or a minimum of 5 years' occupational experience - within: Hospitality Management OR SEN/D (as a Teaching Assistant or Support Worker).
Must possess a passion for supporting learners with additional complex needs.
Confident to deliver in a classroom and 1:1 setting.
Willingness to work towards a Level 5 Diploma in Education and Training - fully funded and supported by the employer.
Must be IT literate.
Duties include:
You will support a caseload of SEN Apprentices, and deliver engaging training sessions within a classroom and online environment.
Design and deliver internal training to your colleagues, to ensure best practice is delivered to SEN learners.
Ensure sessions are motivating, engaging and develop learners' skills knowledge and behaviours
Overcome barriers to learning and adapt delivery to meet learner’s needs.
Monitor student attendance and progress through regular student assessment and reviews.

Organisational skills are a must, as well as the ability to plan your time effectively
Confident and professional with the ability to inspire and motivate people
Quality driven and prepared to go the extra mile for your learners
