We are looking for an experienced and highly organised Bookkeeper who will maintain the accuracy of our financial records, ensure smooth operation of accounting workflows, and support financial reporting that underpins our creative retail and trade business.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process invoices and ensure accurate record-keeping of financial transactions

• Contact customers regarding payments and invoicing issues

• Raise sales invoices and ensure correct VAT treatment

• Manage general bookkeeping duties, including reconciliation of bank transactions

• Liaising with our EU Bookkeeper and our UK and Belgium accountants

• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and maintain accurate financial records for the businesses

• Cashflow forecasting

• Prepare and submit VAT returns

• Assisting the Finance Manager with other tasks as needed

Skills and Experience Required:

• Proven bookkeeping experience (ideally 2+ years) within retail or e-commerce, preferably within an E-Commerce setting

• Working knowledge of UK VAT regulations and payroll basics

• Familiarity with accounting software and financial systems

• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy

• Strong organisational and time-management skills

• High level of numeracy and analytical capability

• Clear and proactive communication skills

• Tech-savvy and adaptable to digital systems and evolving processes

• Ability to work independently and as part of a small, creative team
